Our total profit today? $5,228.64
Hi everyone -- Today is Wednesday, October 22nd, 2008. I want to review our trade action from today...
If you've been following along, we are trading 3 pairs -- The AUD/USD, USD/CHF, and USD/JPY.
The Aussy is currently at 0.6725. Since we went long at 0.6723, we should be at a slight profit, but we got hit with a $45 swap fee due to the rollover. So for the moment, the positions are at a $20 loss, but still open.
The Yen pair was the most exciting! It started moving down and hit our first profit level of 98.96, giving us a quick profit of $1,546.55! But then it kept going down! Our trailing stop followed it down and it reached a low of 97.22. Then it reversed and hit our trailing stop at 97.96. That gave us another $2,582.43!
As for the long position on Swissy? Well, our trading method was right again! It moved up, and closed out the first half of our position, taking profits at 1.1639. Yup, another $1,099.66! The other lot is still open as we trail a stop behind it.
So, we currently have 3 open positions and a Floating Profit of $1,015.34! And our total profit today? $5,228.64 -- Trading forex gets me sooooo excited!
