Well, the simple answer is... as much as you want. Forex trades over 3.2 Trillion dollars per day! There really aren't any limitations on how much money you can make trading Forex.
However, it is very important to have realistic expectations. The truth is that Forex trading is not a get rich quick proposition, despite all of the hype to the contrary. That does not mean that there isn’t money to be made or that you can't get rich by trading Forex. You can become rich in Forex by starting with as little as $100.
One of the appeals of Forex trading is the great leverage that is offered. Basically, you can use a small amount of money to control and trade a much larger amount of money, which means more profits. However, leverage can work for you, or against you, and therefore it is critical that you follow good trading methods along with sound risk management principles to have the opportunity to unlock the profit potential that the Forex markets have to offer.
You may not make any money trading forex. You might lose money. Then again, with a good trading method and risk management principles, Forex might just be the way to become financially independent.
